Founded in 1987, Poliservizi took over the Maritime and Brokerage Agency Ali & Sons, originally established in 1834. Building on this legacy, the company has continued to operate as a shipping agency while steadily expanding its range of services, including maritime surveys and marine works. It is headquartered in Rome, with operational offices in Italy (Messina, Civitavecchia and Termini Imerese), as well as in Montenegro (Podgorica).

Poliservizi has also obtained the SOA Qualification Certificate for the Execution of Public Works in the following categories: OGVII, OS20A, OS20B, and OS25.

Poliservizi has recently obtained the UNI/PdR 125 Certification, which sets out the guidelines for a management system that promotes gender equality.
